Curse of the iPhone

I've recently parted ways with my beloved Blackberry and upgraded to a white iPhone (my new baby), and with the iPhone comes the apps. Can anyone guess what the first app (and probably the most dangerous app of them all) was?? Yes I am also a neat freak and like all my apps arranged in folders.

Oh yes the Topshop app, and I may have let a little shreek out when I spotted it.

So now instead of snapping pictures from magazines/having to remember things which I have seen.. I now have a virtual shopping list...

My poor bank accounts not going to know whats hit it :( On a random note how lush is that clutch bag?? I want.

Any other apps I should be downloading??

Its pay day its pay day

And its Friday...

Could today get any better!!

So I initally did this payday wishlist last Sunday and since then, the last week has been a bit of a shopping frenzy. I'm still on the hunt for something to wear tomorrow night- thinking an after work dash tonight to Topshop (even though the one in Durham is rubbish).

Considering last month I haven't been on the spending ban, I've actually saved way more money than I did when on the shopping ban. See I told you shopping bans were a waste of time. However as its Holly's wedding 4 weeks tomorrow, I am trying to curb the spending this month. So the things I want, I've had to really think about as to whether I need it. I'm still ebaying my life away trying to make some space in my wardrobes, sounds daft but some of my clothes have sentimental value and I don't want to sell them. But needs must.

So what have I got my eye on this month...

Aztec Skirt £165, All Saints BOUGHT
White Cashmire Vest £22, Topshop Boutique
Yellow Envelope Laptop Case £20, Asos RETURNED
Antelope Animal Print Wedges £80, Topshop.
17 Falsify Mascara £6.49, Boots. BOUGHT
Sully Fluropink Halterneck Dress £41, Reiss

If you follow me on Twitter (@raywhoisshe) you will have seen how narked off I am with trying to get one of these embellished All Saints skirts, I'm keep being outbid. However on my lunch on Monday I thought I would quickly check ebay and see if any skirts in my size had been listed. My size in the Aztec Skirt with a buy it now- seriously it was too good to be true. I've bought it and fingers crossed its in good nick. I ordered the Asos clutch for going out this weekend, however its not as nice as it looks on the website (gutted). I doubt the Reiss dress is going to be avaliable in my size as its in the Sale, however I'm off to Newcastle next Saturday with Holly so I'll be checking their store/John Lewis/Fenwicks to see if they have it in.

The animal wedges I think will have to wait until next payday.. you will see why later on. I need a new white vest for Holly's hen do in a smaller size as I'm sick of having to pull my current boutique vest up, as it has a habit of falling down all the blooming time. Managed to get my hands on the Falsify mascara last week- so far I'm quite happy with it- I'll be putting that to the test tomorrow night. I also want some hot rollers, I've got my eyes on the Babyliss 30 Ceramic Rollers, as thats what the hairdresser used on mine and Holly's hair for the trial, Sally's sell them for £55 however I've managed to see them somewhere for £29 with free p+p (I love a good bargain)

Anyway back onto why I won't be buying the Antelope wedges this month, Monday night I got a message on ebay saying that THE ALL SAINTS SHELL SKIRT IN MY SIZE WAS LISTED ON EBAY BRAND NEW WITH TAGS AS A BUY IT NOW (and breathe). I was in two minds as to buy it considering I just bought the Aztec skirt. However after a lot of thinking, I decided to buy it. It came yesterday in the post, and its in immaculate condition, and it fits perfect. Roll on Holly's hen do pt 2 and you'll see the pictures of it in action then. Debating whether to sell the Aztec skirt when it comes however I'm going to hold on to it for a bit while I make my mind up (yeah I'll end up keeping it).

So a massive thank you to Natalie for letting me know about the shell skirt!!!

Massive post for you there!! If you are interested in taking part in your face of the day on here, comment on the post below.

Have a fab weekend and don't do anything I wouldn't do!! xx

Bigger is most definately better...

....when it comes to Maxi Clutches.

I know what you were thinking, dirty mares..

Another one of my all time favourite obsessions is maxi clutches. Well before the Chanel babies came into my life any night out I was on, you would see me with a clutch bag of various sizes. To me an ideal clutch is one which you can fit just the right amount of products in it- no-one wants to see outlines of whats in your bag bulging through.

Also the use of a brightly coloured clutch can add a pop of colour to a plain outfit, or teamed with a brightly coloured dress your doing the colour blocking trend. For some reason I always want to use a brightly coloured maxi in the summer, however at this time of year you can hardly find any. I always find that its Christmas time when the stores decide to stock their nice clutches.

However there are some gems to be found on the highstreet..

Top- Sloan Leather, £215 Michael Kors @ Net-a-Porter.com, Black Envelope, £45 Warehouse, Woven Leather and Suede, £395 Miu Miu @ Net-a-Porter.com, Pink Patent Leather, £12.99 New Look.
Bottom- Blue Metal Tip, £18 Asos, Pink Twist Lock, £25 Topshop, Black Flat Zip Contrast Clutch, £20 Asos, Cream Weave Metal Tip, £30 Asos, Yellow Portfolio Envelope, £20 Asos.

As you can gather, Asos have come up trumps with having the best selection on maxi clutches. I am loving the bright primary colours- definately debating whether to buy either the blue or the yellow clutch or perhaps the cream woven one for Holly's hen do. Or I might just buy them anyway, any excuse to spend money.

Oh and on a parting note- I give to you my "bigger than a maxi" vintage maxi clutch

For me the maxi clutch trend will never go out of fashion- whats your thoughts on it??

Fancy a bargain?? Check out my ebay listings here

Where them girls at??

I am shattered from Holly's hen weekend- all this week's posts (bar this and le Blog Stalker) will be about the hen weekend. Was fab to see Holly so happy and hyper all weekend, and her dreams came true... haha. I'll share the video with you all next week.

Thought I'd do a sneaky outfit of the day post from the other week when I was out with Kayleigh in good old Dirrrrrty Duzza. I love this dress, its one of those dresses that you can wear time and time again and it never looks dated. Its the grey version of the blue CiCi for Topshop dress I wore on my holidays (see here). You can always find these on ebay if you want one- dirt cheap too. Not impressed with my tan here- the flash has totally washed it out (St Tropez top half of body, He-Shi dark mousse on legs- don't ask but it works).
Grey dress- CiCi for Topshop.
Studded double wrap belt- Topshop.
Chanel XL Jumbo
Asos Watch.
Leopard Print Heels- New Look.

An outfit of the day post wouldn't be the same without me posing in my usual spot in Buddha...

Just chilling out with the Fat Buddhas.

You Spin Me Right Round...

Quick outfit of the day for you, I think I'm having a bit of an obsession with sheer shirts at the moment. Looking through my wardrobe I have about 7, including this shirt below from Primark. I wish I'd gotten this a size smaller as it keeps hanging off my shoulders. I think I may have found a new place to take photos as the light is way better.

On another note- JEMs waters have been broken at 5am this morning and she's pretty out of it as she's had her epidural. Thats all what I've heard from her so fingers crossed babyJEM will be here by the end of the day. I'm hoping she hurrys up and pops her out, as her brother is going back home to NZ on Sunday. I think JEM is well and truely sickend off now as her facebook status updates are on about how she wants to be at home eating bree, or it could be due to the drugs kicking in.

Sheer Shirt- Primark.
White Vest (underneath)- Topshop.
Flared Jeans- Topshop (from years ago- finally managed to fit back into them).
Belt- All Saints.
Glasses- Ray Ban.

Oh here's another cheeky Take That photo for you..
Erm could I be any closer to the front?? Nope haha.

The infamous Blog Stalker will be back tomorrow.

There'll be trouble when the kidz come out.. (edited)

As you read this and JEM's post below, I should be recovering from seeing my beloved Take That, so like the good blogger I am, I've pre-scheduled todays posts. Another aspect which you wanted to see on the blog was more hauls, now as you know I buy a lot of clothes and I never post pictures of them, bar from the occasional night out photos. I think the items below are all the clothes etc I've bought this month, I really can't remember as due to Primark and Topshop's dodgy sizing I've returned quite a lot of items.

So what have I been spending my dough on this month...
Topshop.
Sheer Polka Dot Shirt via Ebay (you can see an ootd with it here)
Lemon Flower Print Twist vest (warning this is small fitting across the old boobage, so I got mine 2 sizes bigger).

New Look Skinny Leg Jeans-  I hate New Look sizing for Jeans, I couldn't get my normal size over my knees. Not happy about this, but I needed some light coloured jeans to wear for Take That and Primark didn't have any light jeans in.
Primark Long Gold Necklace- only £3.50 and it looks very similiar to the one I bought for £12 from Topshop last year. Mr T eat your heart out.

Primark Satchel- bargain at £9. I needed an across the body bag ready for Take That and this fit the bill. I know there is a lighter version of this bag (I'm sure Hayley has it), however I prefer the Tan. You can get loads in it.
Primark Maxi Dress- had to get this 2 sizes smaller as it looked like a tent on, however I love the colour and for £9 you can't be robbed. I can't believe how long Primark maxi dresses are, considering I'm 5'10" and this trails on the floor for me. Think this may get an airing out this week.

and finally..
Sexy Shoes from New Look.
They're peep toe, have a massive platform and heel, are suede and for a bargainious £19.99 it is love!!

So those are some of my buys this month, come tomorrow this won't be the case, bring on the spending ban.

*note*
Had to edit the post to include a sneaky peek of yesterday's concert (I'll do a proper post soon). Right at the front- hell yeah!!
JASON, GARY AND HOWARD TOUCHED ME!!!
I could have died!!

Still no BabyJEM over a week overdue now.

Hey Shorty- you look familiar

So after the shambles that was the curse of Friday 13th and blogger being one hell of a bugger yesterday and deleting this post which was initally posted on Thursday. In a nutshell,I'll summarise the main points from that post (haha how professional do I sound)-

Basically as JEM is ready to pop babyJEM out anyday now, I'm taking a leaf out of her book and talking a week or so break from blogging. Plus work and other things need to take priority for the immediate future. I've got 1001 ideas for new posts, but at the moment I don't have the time to write them up. Don't fret I'll still be reading all your posts and commenting where I can.

So the main point of Thursday's post was shorts... as you all know that I'm a giant, for some reason the only shorts on the high street which fit me decently and don't give me the dreaded camel toe (sorry to lower the tone) are from Topshop. Seriously Topshop is killing me, as if I don't need another excuse to spend more money in there. After buying my leather shorts (aka Lederhosen) from there, I'm starting to lean more towards wanting to wear shorts for nights out instead of dresses.
All shorts from Topshop.com

I've actually been to Topshop in Newcastle today to see if any of these shorts were in stock, however the one pair I wanted (blue pair, top row) was out of stock. However the Newcastle store did have the rest of the shorts in. Remember coloured shorts and a vest is a sure fire way to try the colour blocking trend.

I may be popping up here and there over the next few weeks, and I've pre-planned a special "whats haute and whats not- summer holiday special" which me and JEM wrote a few weeks ago. I'll also keep you updated when JEM goes into labour too.

In the mean time if you want a chat, catch me on twitter (@whoissheblog) and get me added on liveprofile (LPOLEMGG).

Peskyness

So blogger is refusing to upload my fabulous picture of my latest Topshop wants. You will have to make do with a picture of moi from Saturday night when I was out with Kayleigh. This photo was taken mid-beautiful man perving in Buddha, and I do not like how pale the flash has made my face. Obviously as Kayleigh doesn't know about the blog, I've cut her off. I don't even like this photo but I'm putting it up anyway- I feel like I look old.

Also- this photo gives a good representation of how red my hair goes when I use the Revlon Nutri Colour Creme. I'm going to do a proper red hair care maintenance post soon. Plus I hate lack of air con in bars, my curls always drop out half way through the night- grrrrr.

Floral Dress- Top de la shop
Hair extensions- www.buyhair.co.uk

Tan Belt- Primark
Watch- Asos
Bangles- Ebay/Primark.
Black Shoe Boots- Dorothy Perkins.

Roll on tomorrow

Even though when you read this I should be out shopping with Holly for bridesmaid shoes, but tomorrow is my favourite day of the month- PAYDAY!!!

As I need to start putting money towards Holly's hen do, I am having to cut my spending right down this month. These are the very few items which have caught my eye (I've been avoiding online shopping like the plague).

Topshop and Primark's finest.

Watch me have spent a fortune shopping today...

Is there a Topshop AA...

Hello my name is Ray and I have a dangerous addiction to Topshop.

I am also scoffing office buffet on my lunch as I type this (its bloody lush).

I went through a phase of hating Topshop not so long ago as the store in Durham is VERY limited and what appears nice on the website in person isn't that nice. However since the massive store opened at Newcastle last year- its been a very dangerous love affair. The best thing about the Newcastle store is its now seen as one of their major flagship stores, so whatever you see on the site 9/10 it will be in the Newcastle store.

To an extent I do think Topshop is over priced (especially their knitwear and jackets) however other items I think are quite reasonable and they're better quality. But for night out clothing- for me you'll only ever see me in Topshop (with the odd exception)- its at the stage now that if I'm out with my cousins (who all are like me) we have to bbm each other and find out what we are wearing so we don't turn up in the same clothes.

Anyway- tomorrow Topshop are releasing their "Dress up" range of statement dresses. As far as I'm aware the collection is of limited edition items which go by the motto "why dress down, when you can dress up". Key pieces from this collection include a pale pink tulle tutu, a black leather dress with gold studding and the all over rainbow sequin dress.

I definately want the last dress, actually I NEED it.
Is there a Topshop rehab anywhere??

Floral Bloom

So Saturday night I was able to finally be able to flash my holiday tan off, and I thought a new dress was in order (I haven't bought any clothes in March- bar 2 bikinis). I'd seen this dress on the Topshop website and loved it, however JEM and Stephy weren't too keen.

Cue a trip to the Metro Centre on Friday night with Madame Stephy to see if I could get that Zara dress I mentioned last week. In a nut shell the dress was really thick cotton and weighed a ton- very disappointed. On a tangent- I found another dress there, which I fell in love with and knew that that was the dress for Easter Sunday's drinking sesh (picture to come).

As it is my luck, it looked like there was a belt loop missing from the dress so I left it and thought I would order off the website. Guess what- the dress wasn't online- cue a lunchtime dash up to Zara to get the dress. Anyway, back to the point of the post...

I love florals- for some reason everytime I decide to wear a floral dress I always feel summery, and as glorious as the weather was on Saturday, the floral dress I think was a wise investment. So this is my outfit shot taken by the Iamvip photographer in Loveshack (aka the shack of love) on Saturday. I've cut my friend Kayleigh off the picture as she doesn't know about the blog and I don't think its fair in posting random pictures.
Dress- Topshop.
Studded Belt- Topshop.
Gold watch (not seen)- Asos.
Bag- Chanel XL Jumbo.
Shoes- Topshop Aggie Boots (aka my Tranny boots as I'm 6ft3 in them lol)

Quite chuffed that my hair is actually half decent, as normally by the time I am in Loveshack my hair is a mess. Rather impressed with my sample of Mac Studio Fix (NW25) is a perfect match for my skin as normally pictures my face looks too pale (even though I am tanned).

Wish I had sorted my dress out as it makes me look huge (its a size 8- yes me in a size 8, I'm in shock about that too).

Regardless it was a fab night!!! And that is me stopping with ootd pictures for the time being- don't really want my face plastered all over the blog all the time.

Tomorrow- JEMspenk is back....

Magical Shrinking Feet...

I think the one good thing about getting older is the fact that my feet are shrinking- does that sound random? Yes it does. So anyone who knows me will tell you that shoes are not my thing. I hate shoe shopping, I'd rather spend my money on clothes/handbags, or actually waste it on rubbish than buy a pair of shoes.

I think many of you will probably be having some sort of fit for me saying that I hate shoes, but I do have good reason...

Being 5'10" and a size 9 feet, shoe shopping was pure torture- no shops used to have decent shoes in such a bigger size. Next used to be the place to go for heels. My going out wardrobe used to consist of one pair of black courts which would go with everything. Any shoes which I would buy would be black. However within the last 3-4 years my feet have been shrinking- look in my wardrobe, there is size 7, 8 and 9 shoes. I like to think that my feet are shrinking but to be honest I think its just the size of the shoes being made a bit bigger.

Oh how I wish my feet were a size 6 and dinky, but I suppose that would have caused far more damage to my bank balance. Thing is primark heels I can be a 7-8, New Look I'm an 8, Topshop size 8 for court shoes is too tight, a size 9 there is a good half an inch of space at the back- I don't think I'll ever win.

Anyway totally drifting off the point of the post... one dress.. what shoes do you prefer..as I can't find the coral Peacocks shoes anywhere (update on this later)
Topshop Cream Floral Dress £46

Loretta Bow Sandles £70 Topshop, Wooden T Bar Sabdles £29.99 New Look, Asos Pump It Up Suede Platform Courts £55, Brown Loafer Heels £24.99 New Look.

Or my tranny shoe boots, as I like to call them??

Muchos Love xxx

Update on the Peacock shoes for anyone who was wanting them- just had an email from customer services and there is a problem with the shoe, hence a delay in delivery. They are unable to advise a specific date for when the shoes will be in stock.

What's that coming over the hill...

Just realised that I haven't posted any pictures of my ugly mug on here in a long time, so I thought I would share an outfit of the night which I wore the other Friday when I went out for a birthday meal for my brother/staff night out at work. Nothing too flash- I think you can see how tired I was/face like a slapped arse.

I've got my new hair extensions in the pictures below- bit bizarre actually not having to dye them at the hairdressers, can't believe how much of a good match it was. They're supposed to be 18" more like 20". Not liking my thighs in these pictures neither- bloody tree trunks.

Yes its a Topshop Love In.
All clothing items are Topshop
Watch- Asos
Hair Extensions- http://www.buyhair.co.uk/

Sexy leopard print shoes- £20 New Look.
Nail polish- Opi Lincoln Park After Dark

Club Tropicana drinks are freeeeeeeeeee

As you can tell, I'm starting to get into the full holiday spirit and it would be rude to mention Club Tropicana without the following imagine imbedding itself into your brain...

skimpy skimpy whities.

Anyway back to the point of the post...

To me, holidays remind me of bold, brash floral/tropical prints with plenty of denim and pretty bikinis thrown in for good measure. Even if I don't go away on holiday I try to encoporate this into my beginning of spring-summer wardrobe. As you are all aware I've set myself a mission with this holiday- not to buy any new clothes (bar a few bikinis) and make do with the clothes I've got, most of which are summery. While "researching" (ok maybe thats I lie- browsing as usual) for this post, I am really impressed with the selection which is avaliable on the high street.

Most of these items I think could easily take you from one season to another and dress up/down, and for the prices they are- its good value if you think of it in cost per wear.

So if money were no object, this would probably be my capsule wardrobe for a trip to Club Tropicana, with some gladiator sandles thrown in for good measure...

Rainbow Bubble Dress £45 Asos, Floral Jersery Print Dress £29 Topshop, One Shoulder Floral Dress £45 Asos, Apricot Belted Floral Dress £23 New Look.

Miso Tropical Print Maxi Dress, Floral Knot Back Vest £25 Topshop, Moto Denim Shorts £26 Topshop, Cream Floral Print Dress £48 Topshop.

Bikini £25 Miss Selfridge, Palzzo Pants £20 Primark (Limited Collection), Missioni Hairband £65 Net-a-Porter, Chelsea Rebellion Dress £45 Asos.

Plus the ultimate holiday essential...
Ray Ban Wayfarers (or Clubmasters).

Who loves a bit of Club Tropicana??

Payday Needs..

So today is my favourite day of the month- PAYDAY, and I was looking forward to some retail therapy (even though I went shopping twice, yes TWICE last Thursday). However this has gone tits up (I love that phrase) as 3 weeks today I will be in Tenerife. Yes I am in the process of booking a last minute holiday, and as this year I am being a skinflint in attempting to save up for a house and refraining from buying any designer handbags I am going to be spontanious and have a holiday.

Now flying scares the living shit out of me, however I am thinking of the lovely duty free I can get...

Anyway these Topshop wants are actually Topshop wishes as I am going to try my hardest not to buy any clothes this month... I'm not holding my breath

Blossom Floral Print Dress £29, Coral Cape Cardi £38
Bright Stripe Vest £16, Camel Fold Over Hareems £38

Apricot Grandad Shirt (I have this however not 100% sure on it) £35, Blue Scallop Hem Shorts £34
Oval Ring £12.50, Floral Crochet Neck Sundress £32.

I now have less than 3 weeks to get a bikini body- arghhhhhhh

Whats that coming over the hill..

....is it payday??
....is it payday??

Oh yes, payday is within touching distance... roll on Monday. Even though my NYR was to stick to a budget, that may have gone out of the window the last two days... I've just ordered some xen tan, and then a skirt from asos (it was in the sale so do I get some credit for that), and some OPI oh and a Mac eyeshadow from a blog sale. As January was my birthday month (yes I get a month), I have cut back on spending but I know I can do better next month.

However it would be rude not to buy any new things next month... these are things I need in my life..

BCBG Stretch Dress £158.41 Shopbop.com, Alexander McQueen Skull Bracelet £115 Net-a-porter.com, Brown Leather Shorts (I've caught the leather bug- blame the Lederhosen) £38 Topshop, Mustard Floral Print Suntop £25 Topshop.

Knitted Coral Cardi £38 Topshop, Coral Platform Courts £48 asos, One Shoulder Coral Dress £40 asos, Coral Peep Toe Cork Heels £69.99 River Island. Can you spot a colour theme???

Leopard Print Blazer £79.99 Zara, House of Harlow Cuff £143 Shopbop, Evil Twin Sky is Falling tee £30.89 Shopbop.com, Opi Lincoln Park After Dark £10 asos.

Finally getting my laptop sorted this weekend- so you will probably be seeing some photos in the next few weeks. Also trying to do a spreadsheet of all the enteries of the giveaway- will announce the winner asap. Oh and if anyone knows how to get the tabs along the top of your blogs please can you let me know cause I can only ever get one tab on- cheers.

Anyhoo what are you spending your pay on?? x

Thursday, January 13, 2011

Oi Yer Spenk...Haiiiii

I need your help fellow bloggers, I would tweet but my Blackberry has died a sorry little death and I've left my charger at home (cue a very unhappy Ray at work today). I need sometime of top to go with my leather shorts (aka Lederhosen as they are now known as).

Now as they have zips on, I would rather have some sort of plain (yet dressy) top to go with it. Ideally something Topshop as I know their tops are long enough for me, and long enough to tuck in but not look like I have had some sort of accident in my pants... what a lush thought.

Anyway here are my favourites from the Topshop site and a picture of the shorts. Which shirt/top do you think will look better?? Oh and I won't be wearing tights with them neither!! Bare legs all the way.

The Lederhosen.

Cream crop tab sleeve shirt £36, Cream tab front silk shirt £40, Sand short sleeve safari shirt £36.

Splody animal burnout tee £22, Blue drop arm vest £28, Basic shell top £10.

Peach grandad collar shirt £36, Sleeveless cropped tab shirt £36, Silk longsleeved shirt £40.

I think from looking at them, I definately think a shirt (keep me a bit warm in the cold) and I have two favourites. However what would you pair them with??

Say NO....

...to the spending ban.

I wasn't going to blog today but as I have a post to put on from JEM (yes she still is alive- don't worry), I thought I would share with you my new Topshop buys. Now I was going to photograph them for you but I am far too lazy to move from my bed where it is lovely and warm, so you will have to make do with pretty pictures from the Topshop website. Plus considering the amount of clothes I buy (or used to- you'll see why later) I don't understand why I never blog about it... this is going to change.

Now throughout December I had a "no spending money on clothes until Boxing Day ban", which I kinda did stick too... well thats a lie, I was after a Micky Mouse sweatshirt from Primark which I couldn't find, so ended up buying another sweatshirt and then bought the Micky one when I found it in Newcastle... however... I did return the other sweater and changed it for a sheer shirt (it was after boxing day so its allowed). Quite good for me cause I would normally have kept the sweater and buy the shirt.

So on New Years Eve and considering my 200 quid budget a month from 1st January for clothes, going out etc, one last Topshop splurge before it kicked in is ok isn't it?? Plus I did return some sale items too... shock horror which I decided I didn't really need (extra 40 quid for me). I think I'm at that stage now where I need to take account of what clothes I have and what items I need to add to my wardrobe. Plus as its my Birthday night out on the 22nd (oh how I wish I was 22- yes I am still having issues about my age) I wanted something new to wear. You have to have something new to wear on your birthday night out... its the law.

So my new purchases...

Zipped back tee- ₤15 (sale).
The tag says its supposed to be red, however it looks more Orange. Love this top, would actually pay full price for it as its one of those dressy, but not too dressy tops (if that makes sense).

Ally boots ₤40 (sale).
I have been eyeing these babies up since they first came out however I wasn't sure on spending so much money on a pair of boots which is going to make me 10" taller than everyone around me. However for some reason my feet are funny sizes in Topshop- size 8 boots are too small, yet size 9 slip ons are far too big. However considering in the shop this was the last pair and in a size 9 I think it was a sign to buy them. Now I just need to master walking in shoes with such a big platform (I'm not used to them) before next week.

Finally, PU Leather shorts ₤38.
One of my New Years Resoultions is to try and stop wearing dresses every time I go on a night out. I need to wear other items of clothes haha. So for my birthday night out I am wearing these bad boys aka my lederhosen as I've been calling them with my lovely new shoe boots. Quite looking forward to wearing them, but really apprehensive at the same time. Even though I wear short dresses I have no problems in my legs being on show, however I am worried about being called thunder thighs in these shorts. The diet is back in full swing for next week as I'm now paranoid I wont fit in them haha.

Keep those shorts in mind... I need your advice/input later on in the week...

Roll on 9..

I'm such a Gleek!!! xx

6 More Sleeps...

....until the Boxing Day Sales begin!!!

I love the sales, love love love them. Coming from a girl who has two wardrobes, and 2 sets of drawers full of clothes... its the perfect excuse to buy more clothes :)

Now this month I was supposed to be buying no clothes until the Boxing Day sales, and I have been doing really well... until Saturday. Remember that horse shoe print blouse I bought in Primark in Manchester?? Well they have a sweatshirt with that print on, and I just had to have it and it was only £6 and I really needed it and if I didn't buy it my hand was going to drop off, and so I had to have it ok.

I have crap will power I know.

Now as next year I really need to sort my act together and buy a house, I have to start seriously budgeting. However it would be rude not to have one last splurge before I start saving. Here's what I really want in the Topshop sale...providing they go in the sale...fingers crossed...

Basic Zip Exposed Vest (currently £28), Desert Floral Print Blouse (currently £33), Peter Pan Tunic (currently £28).

Cream Feather Print Kimono (currently £38), Stripe Cream Dress (currently £38)- I've been told by JEM to pick her one of these up, Floral Batwing Kimono (currently £50)- you know how much I love this.

Will any of you be braving the Boxing Day sales?? Ooooo I also want those glitter dorothy shoes from Topshop too- can't find any pictures of those though :(

Break up from work tomorrow woop woop xxx
