The cold weather is en route...

... well to be honest I think its already Winter here in the North East. Freezing, wet and windy.

I have noticed in my wardrobe there is small space... a small space which needs filling. Now before any sarcastic comments (my finger is pointing at you JEM) that I can't get any more clothes into my 2 wardrobes and 2 sets of drawers.. this small space has a purpose.

Its the sign I need to purchase a FUR COAT (faux of course)- its the perfect Autumn/Winter staple. I will be wearing it on nights out, shopping trips, walks, the list goes on and on. I think I'm just making up reasons why I should buy one.

A little something from me to you

Those who follow me on Twitter will know that I have said that when I reach 50 followers on here, as a thank you I will be doing a give away.

Well actually it will be 51 followers, as JEM is a follower and she isn't getting entered into the draw (sorry JEM, harsh but fair).

£29 It Dress

I don't know if its me- but for some reason on a night out I have to wear a dress. I don't feel "dressed" if i'm not wearing a dress. Strange I know, so every time before a night out I have the major panic of "having nothing to wear". Now considering I have a wardobe dedicated to going out clothes- I don't have anything to wear haha.

I always think this time of year is a bit funny for finding nice going out dresses which aren't too summery or xmas party dresses. Now with my dresses- bar the very special ones- I like to have the opportunity to be able to pair them with tights and a blazer/leather jacket.

Motel is one of those makes which to be honest with you, I always think looks nice in magazines, but when you see it in person the quality is a bit rubbish/looks cheap/poorly made. Now my thoughts may be changed after seeing a piece in Look magazine about their £29 wanda dresses.

Basically its strapless tulip dress which comes in about 6 different patterns, and if you join the website you can get £10 off.

These are my 2 personal favs- I love Animal print and how season after season its always in for A/W (blog post to be done on that later), and the feather print can tie me over both S/S and A/W. Check out www.motelrocks.com for more details.

NOTD- Models Own Misty Grey

One more day at work, then its the weekend.

As the majority of you are aware Models Own had a 50% off sale the other week. One of the polishes I got was their Misty Grey, as I have been looking for the perfect light grey.

This has to be one of my favourite colours- what was my life like before this haha.

As you can tell by the pictures its a very light grey, in some lights it actually looks a bit like duckegg blue. All what it took was two coats, one was actually enough, but out of habit I did two. The polish went on thick, but thats the way I personally like my polishes to be.

Pictures are a bit rubbish as they're off my blackberry.

Now this is the best bit.... these pictures were taken on Sunday. Now between then and now, I have not touched my nails up, or used a topcoat, and I'm typing on a computer for most of the day.

These are my nails today- its hasn't chipped and there is very little tip wear neither!! I love it.

Whats haute and whats not (vol 1)

Half way through the week- yeyyy.

As I like reading all your whats in and whats out posts, I decided to have one on my blog. So this afternoon me and JEM have had a very very productive afternoon in deciding whats haute and whats not. For some reason when I'm saying something is hot I always write it as "haute".

I warn you now- some of this is quite random haha, oh and I'm gonna abuse the bulletpoints too.

HAUTE.

• MOUNTAIN DEW ENERGY (cause the normal won't do)- lemonade esq goodness with a kick (apparently)- gets JEM all hyper on an afternoon. 2 for £1.50 in Sainsburys bargain!!!
• SUMMERY DRESSES- wear em with tights and blazers/cardis/leather jackets- hello autumn :)
• MODELS OWN- grey nail polishes, totally abused the Facebook 50% off sale the other week. Love grey nails- got a review to post for you on their Misty Grey.
• CHRISTINA HENDRICKS- showing that having a bit of meat on your bones is sexy. I also want my hair her colour too.
• AUTUMN- hello comfy uggs :)
• CHEESEBURGERS- random I know- nothing beats a JEM deluxe burger.
• PHEONIX- 1901 tuuuuunnnneeeee of the highest order. Download their albums now now now.
• AUTUMN/WINTER CLOTHES- are hitting the shops now- heeellllloooooo gillets and capes and xmas party dresses.

NOT.

• CROP TOPS- Yes, you have a ridiculously flat belly. Yes, I'm jealous. Now, feck off so I can eat this cheeseburger in peace please lol.
• GOING BRALESS- inparticular, braless under a ill fitting maxi dress...invest in some tit tape please.
• MAN CLEAVAGE- JLS, Jude Law- come on- low cut is for women not for men.
• ALEXANDRA BURKE- your new single is rubbish and you look in pain in your new video when you "dance". Go away please, thank you.
• KATE MOSS FOR TOPSHOP- the partnership has ended :( nooooooooooo
• KATIE PRICE/ALEX REID/PETER ANDRE- put.a.sock.in.it
• LUMBERJACK SHIRTS- this is JEM not me, I love em, JEM hates them.
• END OF SUMMER- farewell pretty flip flops, toodle pip gladiator sandles :(
