September Favourites

Possibly I could be the last blogger to be posting my September favourites, and in all fairness, I haven't really been wearing that much make up the last month, or being arsed with my appearence. My life has been the following- work, gym, chill, work, gym, chill, work blah blah you get the picture. So this month's products are quite boring..

Macadamia Oil Treatment- I recieved this in last months Boudior Prive box, however I had noticed that Laura had been raving about this product on her blog before the BP boxes came out. I've used this twice and I have enjoyed using it, however my hair has been in quite good condition lately as I haven't been using my straighteners. I'm saving whats left of this for my holidays to give this a proper test. I'll do a more indepth review of this once I come back from my holidays.

Anti-histamines- Now I know on first glance of this, it kinda looks like a pill packet, and then put 2+2 together and get 10. However I've started the holiday prep aka "Operation Avaitar"- to prevent the face incident from happening again. My backside will not be used as a dart board again!! I may do a pre-holiday post next week on what I am planning on packing to prevent swolleness.

Korres Lip Butter*- Oh my god, my new favourite lipbalm, the chapstick can go do one. I recieved this with a voucher from Zalando and after eyeing the stand up in HoF at the metro centre, I'm so glad I got it. The shade I have has a slight tint to it, this is a constant feature on my desk at work. I'm after the mango version next. I'll talk about this more in my Zalando haul.

Elemis Rehydrating Ginseng Toner and Rehydrating Rosepetal Cleanser- As part of Holly's wedding present of her hubby DavyT she had a spa day to Bannatyne's spa, and these were some of the products which were used on our amazing facials. Both products are full size and we got these in a set with a miniture face cream for £25 (each bottle is £19 each). I've been alternating using these with my Liz Earle and I have to say with going to the gym nearly every night after work, my skin feels better after I've used these. My skin feels refreshed, whereas sometimes with LE my skin feels spotty (if that makes sense).

Lush Snow Fairy- I've noticed on a lot of your blogs that Lush have their Christmas stuff in, and Snow Fairy is back in stores (hurrah). This bottle is from last Christmas and due to the crappy cold weather we've been having I've been reaching for this. Add in the Boots Christmas Catologue and Hot Chocolate and I am feeling all Christmassy!!! Woohooo.

October Favourites will no dount be purely holiday favourites as I'm currently a hermit,

MySpace eat your heart out....

This isn't the suprise video post by the way, YouTube yet again last night was been a word which rhymes with runt (pardon my french). Therefore in times of desperation I have decided to post...

a face of the day

Now before you all end up projectile vomiting etc, this is going to be a once in a blue moon type of post. I don't actually know why I am posting this as you can't really pick some of the products up on the picture. If you look at the pictures from the hen weekend you can see my make up better. This make up is more of an extreme version of my smokey eye for a night out, as well as the back combed hair. I had to go through the hotel like this to get to Stacey's room on Saturday night with my bikini cover up dress on (always wear this when I'm doing my hair and make up) and I felt like one of the lasses from Geordie Shore.

So without further ado...
Check out my MySpace esq picture (I really don't know how to take fotd pictures any advice would be appreciated).

I also look like a twat.

Face.
Benefit Boi-ing (shade 2) on my eyes as a primer.
Mac Select Moisturecover Concealer (NW20).
Mac MSFN in Medium Deep.
Mac MSFN in Soft and Gentle (as highlight)
Mac Melba Blush.
Mac Bronzer in Refined Golden.

Eyes.
All Mac eyeshadows.
Shroom as a base.
Elecktra all over lid.
Knight Devine in crease.
Typographic blended in and above (I really don't know the technical names) and below eye.
Vanilla as a brow highlight.

Lips.
Mac Creme d'nude (my new favourite nude lippy)

I sound like a right Mac fiend.

Hair.
Foxy Locks Instant Beehive (link)
3 wefts of my old Additional Lengths hair extensions- dyed to match my hair colour. (link)
Backcombed like a good un using my denman brush.

Really need to remember to get my new hair extensions dyed as even though they matched my old hair colour, they need to be redone. Roll on next weekend to get that done. Off shopping to Newcastle tomorrow- my first proper shopping trip in over a month. Well excited- if you see a nutter with red hair running through Eldon Square tomorrow, that will be me haha.

Have a fab weekend everyone and fingers crossed I can get this video onto YouTube!!

I'm moulting.....

...like a dog.

Hey peeps, past the half way point of the week- the weekend is creeping closer. So those who follow me on twitter (@whoissheblog) will know that I'm having some hair issues. Feels like my hair is moulting loads and loads- bizarre. Might just be me though.

After seeing so many posts on your fab blogs on how you have your hair etc and what your essential beauty products are, I thought I would run you through my must have hair products/items. So before I show you what I swear by my hair is quite long- would say its just above my bra, and the colour.... hmmm. How do i describe it- the colour is mixed especially for me by my Cousin, it looks dark brown in some lights, then really red in another. Also love family rates- £15 for a cut and colour to me, £70+ to you :)

So what hair stuff can't I live without??

Paddle brush- use to attempt to smooth my hair when blowdrying it, this is my main brush. Denman brush- used for backcombing on a night out. Clarol nice and easy colour protect conditioner- got this the other week from Sainsburys for 50p. This has really kept my colour in my hair- you can get it for blondes and brunettes. Really recommend it. And finally batiste- it needs no explanation (get it from home bargains only 99p). Shampoo wise- Aussie Colour Protect.

My two favourite hairsprays silhouette by schwartzkopf (cousin has her own hairdressers, so I got this for free)- normally use this on nights out when I curl my hair. Amazing- not sticky, shame you can't get them in travel sizes. Pantenne Volume and Body- this is my everyday hairspray, quite sticky, but does the trick. Label M blow out spray- £10.50 from Toni and Guy, this gives massive volume as well as being a heat protect spray. Normally use this when I'm curling my hair, warning it makes your hair quite knotty when your drying it. Label M sea salt spray- £3.50- this is the best sea salt spray I've used. Normally use this when I'm letting my hair dry naturally. For some reason lately when my hair dries its going quite curly (still looks like I've been pulled threw a hedge though), also use it for texture when my hair is curled.

My mighty mighty GHDs- I can't remember life without them. These are my third pair- my brother broke the first pair, he got my second and now I have these. Debating whether to get the large plated ones though. Babyliss Pro Hairdressing 32mm barrel tongs- bought these from Sallys for £30- these get really really hot. Yes thats black nail polish on them- they melted my polish one night before I went out. Really good for doing loose curls, always do my extensions first, then curl sections as I clip my extensions in.

My pride and joy- my beloved hair extensions :) dyed to match my hair colour. You can see the red in them, but I couldn't capture the colour properly. I got these from Additional Lengths in Stockton- £12.50 (www.additionallengths.co.uk) for a 18" weft with 5 clips on. I have to say these are the best quality of real hair extensions I have used- the hair is so thick. I only need 3 wefts in, although I always wear 4. Everyone laughs when I tell them I wear them, cause they're only 2 inches longer than my natural hair. Can't go on a night out without them. Foxy Locks Instant Beehive- £4.99 (www.foxylocksextensions.com), I use this if I can't be bothered to back comb my hair for beehives and Beyonce esq quiffs. All what you do is pull you hair over it and secure with kirby grips.

Nearly reached 50 followers- thank you xxx
