Sonam Kapoor, who would be next seen in the film MAUSAM, is this week's guest in Simi Selects India's Most desirables on Star World.

Sonam has confessed that she became financially independent early in life. At fifteen when she went to Singapore to study she was given meager allowance from home so she took her 1st job as a waitress. She never took a
penny from parents. Today Sonam may be wearing best of the brands but back then her parents never bought her any designer clothes. She refers to their house as 'my father's house'.
