LG Optimus Pro qwerty business phone spotted

LG is getting ready to launch its touch-and-type qwerty smartphone LG Optimus Pro. Powered by Android Gingerbread OS, LG Optimus Pro will be a budget phone and compete within the same space as the Samsung Galaxy Pro.

According to reports, the smartphone has been spotted selling in Italy for €179. While no official confirmation has come on this front, we do expect to see LG Optimus Pro making its way around the globe soon.

LG Optimus Pro specs and pictures were leaked by a Flickr user online. According to available specs, we gather that Optimus Pro sports a bar qwerty touch form and features a 2.8 inch screen, 3 mega-pixel camera, Wifi-GPS capabilities and a 1500 mAh battery power.

The smartphone also comes with a music a player and video recorder and supports MP3, AMR, AAC, AAC+ format as well as H.264/MPEG4. There is no news however on the processor, though coming from LG we are confident it will be around 800 Mhz.

From the picture  we can see that Optimus Pro packs in LG's style and form but we have to acknowledge with growing number of budget users and more number of affordable smartphones making their way to the consumers, pricing will be crucial to Optimus Pro's success in India.

Recently, a series of upcoming LG smartphones leaked online giving us a glimpe of the goodies that the company has in store for us. The leaked smartphones - Samsung Chief, LG Q, LG Optimus B and Motorola Sunfire will hop on the sprint network once they are released.

Other than that there's no official word about the existence of these devices as yet, but we are sure to find more information as their launch date approaches.
