Dear Applicant,
We have received some application forms without the +2 mark details. Kindly be advised that admission to 70% of the B.Tech./5-Year Integrated M.Tech. programmes is based on normalised +2 scores and your admission will not be considered if you are not providing details of your +2 exam scores. You are hence advised to submit your application forms only after your +2 Exam results are declared. Since the last date for submitting the forms is June 11, 2011 there is sufficient time left and do not submit the application forms in haste without +2 marks details. Applicants can submit online version of the mark sheet also and need not wait for the original mark sheet.
Sastra University established in the year of 1984 in the form of Shanmugha College of Engineering which is now renamed, SHANMUGHA ARTS, SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY & RESEARCH ACADEMY [SASTRA].A merit list is drawn based on the normalized percentage for making admissions. The remaining 30% of the seats will be filled by SASTRA based on the AIEEE-2011 ranks.
