The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena activists attacked the street food sellers in Mumbai. Most of them were Pani Puri vendors hailing from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. This incident of attack took place yesterday evening in Dadar and Fort market areas of the city.
According to a report, a video was shot in which a vendor was urinating in the jug used for serving the “Pani Puri” (Gol Gappa or Fulki). The video was presented before the Police officials of Thane City station.
However the MNS Activists who attacked the “Pani Puri” vendors were arrested this morning by the Greater Mumbai Police. They are currently in custody of MRA Marg Police Station. The Activists who are behind the bars are: Ganesh Pawar, Kailash Telgi and Mohammed Shafi Shaikh.
There are many reports for selling unhygienic snacks on the streets of Mumbai. However the way MNS protested against this is illegal said a police official.
