CAT (Common Admission Test) 2011 of Cochin University for Science and Technology (CUSAT) have been announced today on the University’s website Results for postgraduate PG Course’s test’s will be announced tomorrow on 20th April, 2011.
This time boys have captured top ranks.

Krishna Dutt of Kottayam – Second Rank
Daniel George of Ernakulam – Third rank
Vice Chancellor of the University Ramachandran Thekkedath told that the university has plans to start the B. Tech classes by July 4.
Director of International Relations and Academic Admissions (IRAA) Sunil. K Narayanankutty, said that online option registration will begin one week after the publication of the results of the CBSE and plus two examinations.
He also said that the proposed plan is just to hold the trial allotment on May 10.
The first allotment will be taken on May 23rd and the second and third round of allotments will be held on June 3rd and 17th, 2011. This time centralised admission process will be held on the main campus of the university at Thrikkakara starting from May 30, 31, and June 13, 14, 23 and 24.
The university officials told that 33,190 students had appeared for the examination which was held on April 2nd and 3rd. More than 5,600 students had applied for admission to the postgraduate programmes.
